All permanent sidewalks ordered constructed under the provisions of this chapter shall be built on the grade established by the city for the street or streets on which the same are built, which grades shall be furnished to the property owners by the city engineer. Streets shall be constructed in good and workmanlike manner, under the supervision of the city engineer and in accordance with detailed specifications furnished by him. (Ord. 35, 5-8-1914)
