17-103: SERVICE PIPES AND LINES; HOW INSTALLED:
All service pipes or lines shall be located in such manner that the supply for each separate house or premises shall be controlled by a separate stopcock or switch so placed as to be readily accessible from the outside of the house. (2000 Code § 17-103)
