At the time that a permit to move a building is issued, the person securing the same will notify the office of the city clerk of the approximate day and hour when the house, building or other structure is to be moved through, upon or across the streets, alley or sidewalks of the city so that the city may have its agent or representative present to assist in moving electric lines or other city property that might interfere with the move. Any special expense incurred by the city in moving the lines so that the house, building or other structure can be moved will be paid by the applicant. The applicant shall also be required to pay for any damage done to the city property in making the move. (2000 Code § 5-110)
