§ 34.01 AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF CERTAIN ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS.
   (A)   The City Council hereby authorizes the settlement of certain Code of Ordinance violations for the city to be settled by payment to the city from the alleged violator or responsible party a sum of money that is equivalent to the minimum fine and any associated expenses or costs for such violation, including, but not limited to, impound fees, animal vaccination fee, and property maintenance fees, within 21 days immediately following the issuance of an ordinance violation ticket. Any tickets which are not settled by the conclusion of the twenty-first day following issuance of the ticket shall be forwarded to the City Attorney for prosecution and enforcement. This section shall not apply to the following: Chapter 70, §§ 70.001 - 70.009, 70.017, 70.030, 70.031, 70.040 - 70.043, 70.050, 70.054, 70.060, 70.070 - 70.078, 70.090, 70.091 and 70.100 - 70.102, and any ordinance which requires a court appearance for an alleged violation.
   (B)   The City Clerk or the Clerk’s designee shall be responsible for the collection and administration of the fines collected under this section and all monies received shall be deposited into the general treasury for the city.
