1484.01 INSURANCE COMPANY COMPLIANCE REQUIRED.
   All insurance carriers and companies insuring any privately-owned buildings and/or structures within the corporate limits of the Municipality, shall comply with the procedures and requirements of Ohio R.C. 3929.86 (C) and (D) from the effective date of this section.

1484.02 MANAGER'S DUTIES.
   The Manager or his or her designee is hereby designated as the Municipal official required to carry out the duties required under Ohio R.C. 3929.86.

1484.03 DEMOLITION COMMITTEE; OWNER NEGOTIATIONS.
   The Law Director, the Manager and Council's nuisance abatement representative shall compose the Demolition Committee. If a building is fire-damaged, under the definition provided under Ohio R.C. 3929.86, the Committee shall negotiate with the owner or owners of the fire-damaged property to repair, remove or secure the building and to determine the costs prior to release of any moneys as provided by this chapter, and receive a signed agreement from the owner or owners as to the resolution of the property.
