§ 12-3403. Locations at Which an Automated System May Be Installed. 461.2
   (1)   An automated speed enforcement system may be used to enforce this Chapter on the following corridors:
      (a)   U.S. Route 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) at any location between Ninth Street and the Philadelphia County line shared with Bucks County that is approved by the Department of Streets, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
      (b)   Pennsylvania Route 611 (Broad Street) at any location between League Island Boulevard and the Philadelphia County line shared with Montgomery County that is identified by the Department of Streets and the Philadelphia Parking Authority in consultation with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
   (2)   No automated system shall be used unless:
      (a)   warning signs are conspicuously posted as follows:
         (.1)   two signs warning that an automated speed system is in use shall be posted at the beginning, and two such signs shall be posted at the end, of the stretch of each corridor along which camera locations may be installed;
         (.2)   two signs warning that an automated speed enforcement system is in use shall be posted at no greater than two-mile intervals along such stretch of each approved corridor; and
         (.3)   at least one sign shall be posted before the area in which each automated speed enforcement device is used, providing notification that a device is in use immediately ahead; and
      (b)   a notice identifying the location of the automated speed enforcement system is posted on the publicly accessible Internet website of the Department of Transportation.
