CHAPTER 12-500. TURNING REGULATIONS AND PENALTIES
§ 12-501. Turning Markers and Devices.
   (1)   The Department is authorized to place markers, buttons, or signs within or adjacent to intersections indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turning at such intersections, and all movements shall be made in accordance with such devices.
§ 12-502. Authority to Place Restricted Turn Signs.
   (1)   The Department may determine those intersections of streets at which operators shall be forbidden to make a right turn or a left turn and shall erect appropriate signs giving notice thereof.
   (2)   The making of such right or left turns may be prohibited between certain hours of any day and permitted at other hours, in which event the same shall be plainly indicated by signs.
   (3)   The Department may determine and designate those intersections back of which operators of vehicles shall be permitted to turn such vehicles so as to proceed in the opposite direction in accordance with Section 1026(b)5 of The Vehicle Code.
   (4)   The making of U-turns in the opposite direction may be permitted at all hours or permitted only between certain hours of any day and in either event the same shall be plainly indicated by appropriate signs.
§ 12-503. Obedience to No-Turn Signs.
   (1)   Whenever signs are erected indicating that no right or left turn is permitted or that a turn in the opposite direction is permitted only between certain hours, no operator shall disobey the directions of any such sign.
§ 12-504. Penalty.
   (1)   Any person violating any of the provisions of Chapter 12-500 shall, upon summary conviction before a Magistrate, be subject to such penalties as may be provided in The Vehicle Code.
