SECTION A-904 FIRE CODE FEES 275
A-904.1 General: Fees for permits, licenses, appeals and services related to activity regulated by the Fire Code shall be as set forth in this Section. All application fees for licenses under this Section shall be credited toward the annual license fee if the license is issued.
A-904.2 Operational permit: The fee for an Operational Permit shall be based on the operations listed in Section F-105.6 of the Fire Code as follows:
   1.   Cutting, welding and other open burning (not licensed pursuant to A-904.4). . . . . $75 per property
   2.   Temporary membrane structures, tents and canopies (to include any required Lawful Occupancy Signs). . . . . $100 per tent
   3.   Use of explosives . . . . . $150 per event
   4.   Sale of fireworks . . . . . $150 per property
A-904.3 Assisted operation permit: The fee for an Assisted Operation Permit for fireworks and other pyrotechnic displays shall be three hundred fifty dollars ($350) per event.
A-904.4 Trade license: The annual fee for a Trade or Practice License shall be as follows:
   1.   Fire Suppression Systems Contractor.
      a.   Non-refundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100).
      b.   Annual license fee of two hundred fifty dollars ($250).
   2.   Fire Alarm Systems Inspector.
      a.   Non-refundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100).
      b.   Annual license fee of two hundred twenty-five dollars ($225).
   3.   Welding or Cutting Operations.
      a.   Non-refundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100).
      b.   Annual license fee of one hundred dollars ($100).
   4.   Wrecking and salvage yards, tire storage facilities, junk yards and waste material handling facilities.
      a.   Non-refundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100).
      b.   Annual license fee of three hundred dollars ($300).
   5.   Repair garages and motor fuel dispensing facilities.
      a.   Non-refundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100).
      b.   Annual license fee of two hundred dollars ($200).
A-904.5 Family Child Day Care Home: The fee for a Family Child Day Care Home License application and examination shall be fifty dollars ($50).
A-904.6 Miscellaneous fees: The fees for services established by, or related to enforcement of the Fire Code shall be as follows:
   1.   Appeal to the Board of Safety and Fire Prevention . . . . . $150 per building
   2.   Lawful Occupancy Sign (See A-902.6.5 for initial issuance). . . . . $25 for replacement of a previously issued sign
   3.   High-Rise Building Inspection Fee . . . . . $0.01 per square foot per year
   4.   Regulated Facility (Tier II) Hazardous Chemical Fee 276 . . . . . $75 per chemical per year
   5.   Regulated Facility (Tier II) Emergency Planning Fee 277 . . . . . $100 per year
A-904.7 Hazardous Material Handling License. 278 The annual fee for a Hazardous Material Handling License shall be as follows:
   Per building or yard . . . . . $200
