§ 3-912. Board of Building Standards. 82.1
   The Board of Building Standards shall be composed of four appointed members and the Commissioner of Licenses and Inspections. The appointed members shall be individuals of recognized standing and experience in design and construction, and shall include at least one architect and one professional engineer, each registered under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

   Sources:   Ordinance of the City of Philadelphia, May 9, 1949.
   Purposes:   Persons experienced in the design and construction of buildings are required to be members of the Board of Building Standards. The Commissioner of Licenses and Inspections is made a member because the Board is connected with his Department.
