905.01   OPENINGS, CUTTINGS; PERMIT REQUIRED.
   Only registered contractors with the City shall make openings in or cut or remove any curb or curbing in any street, boulevard, avenue or public thoroughfare in the City. A permit therefor shall be obtained from the Director of Public Service. The fee and deposit for such permit are listed in Chapter 185 of the Administrative Code (the General Fee Schedule). The deposit shall be refunded by the Director if the work is completed to his or her satisfaction and without damage to the pavement, remaining curb or treelawn.

905.02   APPLICATION; INFORMATION REQUIRED.
   Any person desiring a cut or opening in the curb of any street, boulevard, avenue or public thoroughfare in the City shall file with the Director of Public Service a written or printed application setting forth and indicating therein the location, kind and extent of the curb desired to be opened or cut and the purpose and size of the opening or cut which is desired or deemed necessary.
