§ 50.01 BOARD TO REGULATE WATER SYSTEM.
   The water system of the town shall be under the control of, and the duty of prescribing and enforcing a full compliance with all rules and regulations governing all connections with the water system shall be vested in, the Board or its authorized agent.

§ 50.02 PERMIT FOR CONNECTION REQUIRED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to make or cause to be made, by himself or herself or any agent, employee, or independent character, any water connections with any water main line or pipe of the town without first applying to and receiving from the Clerk a written permit to make the connection.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to make any change in any water line within or without their own property limits which shall have the effect of taking any water from the water main pipes or line of the town without passing through a water meter where a meter has been installed by the town.

§ 50.03 SEPARATE CONNECTIONS REQUIRED.
   (A)   All water connections shall be made directly to a main water line of the Town of Murphy. Each individual business or residential building or structure shall have its own individual water connection.
   (B)   No piggyback connections in which the water line of a business or residential building or structure is connected to the water line of another business or residential building or structure shall be allowed or approved. Any customer permitting or participating in a piggyback water line connection shall be subject to have his or her water service disconnected.

   (C)   Campgrounds and other similar businesses which generally rent sites, spaces, or lots by the day or by the week shall be permitted to provide water service to the various sites, spaces, or lots so rented from a single water meter.
