Unless otherwise provided herein, any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be subject to penalty under the provisions of section 1-4-1 of this code for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
Any person violating the provisions of section 8-1-17 of this chapter shall be guilty of a petty offense and shall be fined twenty five dollars ($25.00) for the first offense and fifty dollars ($50.00) for a second offense occurring within twelve (12) months of the first offense. A third or subsequent violation of said section within said twelve (12) month period shall be subject to the general penalty provisions of section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord., 7-9-1991)
