11-1-1: TITLE:

This title shall be known as and may be cited as the MT. PULASKI SUBDIVISION TITLE. (1977 Code)

11-1-2: PURPOSE:

This title is hereby made a part of official city plan for the city of Mt. Pulaski, Illinois. It is to provide for the improvement of public health and safety; for the harmonious development of the city and its environs; for the coordination of streets in new subdivisions with other existing or planned streets or with other features of the official city plan; for adequate open space for traffic, schools, recreation and air; for adequate stormwater drainage and sewage disposal; for the efficient and economical maintenance of streets; and for the development of public grounds.
