3-4-1: DEFINITIONS:
Whenever used in this chapter, unless a different meaning appears from the context, the following terms shall have the meanings herein prescribed:
CAMPER OR TRAVEL TRAILER: A vehicle or structure designed and constructed in such manner as will permit temporary occupancy as living and sleeping quarters as is primarily required during camping or vacation travels or similar seasonable use. Such facility has substantially identical characteristics as a mobile home in that it can be conveyed or towed on the streets; however, in no way is it intended to become a residence within the city.
MOBILE HOME: A structure designed to be used for human habitation, carrying or storing persons or property, being able to be easily equipped with wheels or other devices to be transported from place to place. A structure or unit shall be considered a "mobile home" even though it may be designated a modular home or other than a "mobile home" and even though it may be placed on a permanent foundation, be conveyed by truck, rail or air transport, or have its undercarriage, tongue and wheels removed.
MOBILE HOME PARK: An "approved mobile home park" means an area of land or lands upon which two (2) or more independent mobile homes are harbored, either free of charge or for revenue, and the owner or operator at all times maintains a current and valid mobile home park license issued by the Illinois department of public health and the city of Mt. Pulaski. (1977 Code)
