CEMETERIES
§ 51.30 DEED FOR LOT; APPLICATION TO ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
   (A)   All persons desiring to purchase a grave space in the city cemeteries shall apply to the City Engineering Department, which upon payment of the fixed price for each space and the deed recording fee shall cause a deed to be issued and recorded in the Union County Registry. Once recorded, the deed shall be given to the purchaser.
   (B)   In the case of loss or destruction of a municipal cemetery deed issued by the City of Monroe, satisfactory proof of such loss or destruction must be provided to the City of Monroe. If satisfactory proof has been provided and the deed recording fee received, a duplicate deed will be executed as set out to the original holder or to any transferee of him.
