1-11-3: ADVERTISEMENT REQUIREMENTS:
All proposals to award purchase orders or public work contracts exceeding the amount as described herein shall be published once at least ten (10) days in advance of the date announced for receiving of bids in a newspaper of general circulation throughout the Village. Advertisements for bids shall describe the character of the proposed contract in sufficient detail and shall state the date, time and place assigned for the opening of bids. (Ord. 1381, 1-25-2006)
1-11-4: REJECTION OF BIDS:
Any and all bids received in response to an advertisement may be rejected by the Village Board if the bidder is not deemed responsible or the character or quality of the services, supplies, material or equipment does not conform to the bid requirements. (Ord. 1381, 1-25-2006)
1-11-5: ASSIGNMENT OF CONTRACTS:
No contract awarded to the lowest responsible bidder shall be assignable or sublet by the successful bidder without the written consent of the Board of Trustees. (Ord. 1381, 1-25-2006)
