The city council shall have power to cancel and withdraw any license or permit issued by the city for failure of the licensee or permittee to comply with any ordinance or regulation of the city or state law respecting such license or permit or the manner of exercise thereof or for other good cause after hearing upon notice to the licensee or permittee.
Upon conviction of a violation of any provision of this code or other ordinance of the city by a licensee or permittee relating to the exercise of such license or permit, the court, in addition to other penalties imposed, may enter its judgment canceling such license or permit.
