(A) Occupancy permits shall be applied for coincidentally with applications for zoning certificates, and shall be issued after completion of construction and within ten working days after the premises have been inspected by the Zoning Officer. Occupancy permits shall be issued by the Zoning Officer to authorize occupancy of the premises in accordance with the zoning certificate. Pending the issuance of the permanent occupancy permit, a temporary permit may be issued, to be valid for a period not to exceed six months from its date, during the completion of any addition or during partial occupancy of the premises. If the issuance of an occupancy permit is denied, the Zoning Officer shall notify the applicant in writing within ten working days, stating the reasons why a permit cannot be issued.
(B) No occupancy permit shall be issued until the premises have been inspected by the Zoning Officer and found to be in compliance with applicable requirements for the zoning district in which it is located and in compliance with this chapter.
(C) No land, building or structure shall be occupied in whole or in part for any purpose whatsoever until an occupancy permit has been issued in conformity herewith. This regulation shall specifically prohibit the occupancy of any unit or units within a multi-family structure prior to the time in which an occupancy permit has been issued for either all units within said structure or the entire building.
(D) A record of occupancy permits shall be kept on file in the office of the Zoning Officer and copies shall be furnished, on request, to any person having proprietary or tenancy interest in the land or structure affected.

All applicants for a building permit shall pay and the Building Officer shall charge and collect the building fees with respect to applications for, the issuance of permits for, and the inspection and supervision of, the construction, alteration and repair of buildings and other structures, in accordance with the following schedule.
(A) Residential construction (single-family only).
(1) For new construction, including wiring and plumbing, the building permit fee shall be $100.
(2) For additions, incidental or accessory buildings and/or structures, including wiring and building, the building permit fee shall be $100.
(3) For additions, incidental or accessory buildings and/or structures, the building permit fee shall be $50.
(4) For alterations, remodeling or other structures, not including any addition to existing buildings, which will add to the ground area thereof, the building permit fee shall be $100 plus $0.30 per square foot. The fee shall include four inspections, and each additional inspection shall be $50.
(B) Residential (multi-family).
(1) For new construction, including wiring and plumbing, the building permit fee shall be $100.
(2) For additions, incidental or accessory buildings and/or structures, including wiring and plumbing, the building permit fee shall be $100.
(3) For additions, incidental or accessory buildings and/or structures, the building permit fee shall be $50.
(4) For alterations, remodeling or other structures, not including any additions to existing buildings which will add to the ground area thereof, the building permit fee shall be $100 plus $0.30 per square foot. The fee shall include four inspections, and each additional inspection shall be $50.
(C) Commercial, industrial, storage and institutional buildings. All new construction, including grading, foundations, buildings, pipe plumbing/water supply, electrical/communications, waste disposal systems, all industrial-type facilities, and all other items required for the project, when shown on the initial or supplemental application for permit and/or the data attached thereto.
(1) New construction. A fee of $5 per 100 square feet, or portion thereof, for all floor area, including basements, additions to buildings, and/or other structures and improvements, with a minimum fee of $50.
(2) Changes of existing buildings. For alterations, remodeling and changes to existing facilities, but not including additions to existing buildings that increase the floor area, the building permit fee shall be $5 per 100 square feet altered, with a minimum fee of $50.
(3) Separate construction. When items or facilities are installed or major repairs are made separately and are not included in either division (C)(1) or (C)(2) above, then the building permit fee shall be $1 for each $1,000 of estimated total cost, with a minimum fee of $50.

A building inspection fee shall be required in the amount of $500 per unit on all residential structures constructed in the village. The fee shall be required prior to the issuance of a building permit. The fee shall include four inspections, and each additional inspection shall be $50. The building inspection fee on commercial and industrial structures shall be determined on a case-by-case basis as estimated by the Village Zoning Officer.

A plumbing inspection fee shall be required in the amount of $200 per unit on all residential structures constructed in the village. The fee shall be required prior to the issuance of a building permit. The fee shall include four inspections, and each additional inspection shall be $50. The plumbing inspection fee on commercial and industrial structures shall be determined on a case-by-case basis as estimated by the Village Zoning Officer.

The fee shall be required prior to the issuance of a building permit. The fee shall include four inspections, and each additional inspection shall be $50. The electrical inspection fee on commercial and industrial structures shall be determined on a case-by-case basis as estimated by the Village Zoning Officer.
(B) An electrical inspection fee of $100 shall be required for any updated or new service to all residential structures in the village that have previously obtained an electrical inspection fee prior to the issuance of a building permit. The electrical inspection fee includes two inspections, and each additional inspection, as needed, is $50.

A water impact fee in the amount of $1,000 shall be required on all residential, commercial and industrial structures. The sum shall be imposed on a per-unit basis, and shall be payable prior to the issuance of a building permit. The fee shall be separate, distinct and in addition to any water tap-on fee, water tower fee or other fees which may be required from time to time by the village authorities, and shall be imposed on all new construction initiated in the village.

A water tap-on fee shall be required in the amount of $900 per unit. The sum shall be due and payable prior to the issuance of a building permit on new construction within the village. The fee shall be considered separate, distinct and in addition to a water impact fee, water tower fee or other fees required herein. The water tap-on fee shall include the cost of a water meter.
