Those certain sections and/or chapters of the City of Madison Code of Ordinances, as listed below in this section are hereby adopted as if fully set out in this chapter save and except those revisions as may be noted elsewhere in this chapter. Should a conflict between any section and/or chapter adopted herein and this chapter arise, the most stringent section and/or chapter shall apply.

All work done under any building permit shall be in full compliance with all other ordinances pertaining thereto. Refer to § 150.23 of this code for detailed requirements.

The Building Inspector is hereby authorized and directed to administer and enforce all of the provisions of this code. Refer to § 150.35 of this code for detailed requirements.

The Building Inspector, following the issuance of any building permit, shall make, or cause to be made, inspections of the work being done in order to ensure full compliance with the provisions of this code. Refer to § 150.36 of this code for detailed requirements.
