The Building Inspector is hereby authorized and directed to administer and enforce all of the provisions of this code. Refer to § 150.35 of this code for detailed requirements.

The Building Inspector, following the issuance of any building permit, shall make, or cause to be made, inspections of the work being done in order to ensure full compliance with the provisions of this code. Refer to § 150.36 of this code for detailed requirements.

The Building Inspector, or his duly authorized representative, following the presentation of the proper credentials, is authorized to enter the work site in order to perform required duties. Refer to § 150.37 of this code for detailed requirements.

The Building Inspector may order any work which appears to being done contrary to the provisions of this ordinance halted by a written notice. Refer to § 150.38 of this code for detailed requirements.

The Building Inspector shall, in the name of the city, bring actions in the courts of Jefferson County, Indiana, for mandatory and injunctive relief in the enforcement of and to secure compliance with this chapter. Refer to § 150.39 of this code for detailed requirements.
