§ 71.25 VIOLATIONS.

   (A)   Parking of a vehicle by any person in a space designated by §§ 71.20 through 71.25 without a visible permit or special plate showing such parking to be authorized shall be unlawful and shall subject the owner and driver of the vehicle so parked to a fine as set forth in § 71.99.

   (B)   The Police Department, at its discretion, is hereby authorized to have removed all vehicles parked in violation of this subchapter with said removal or tow charge being an additional expense and penalty that shall be paid by any violator of this subchapter.

§ 71.26 PARKING SIGNS.

   (A)   A vertical handicap parking sign, at least 72 inches in height, shall be erected adjacent to and visible from each and every handicap parking space in a public or private parking facility within the city.

   (B)   Each and every handicap parking sign erected in a public or private parking facility pursuant to this section shall bear either an official international wheelchair symbol or a reasonable facsimile of that symbol.

   (C)   Any owner of a public or private parking facility violating the terms and conditions of this section shall be charged with a Class C infraction.

§ 71.27 PARKING SCHEDULES.

   The Police Department shall maintain a current and accurate list of all approved parking schedules to include parking prohibited areas, parking time limited areas, angle parking prohibited areas, handicapped parking areas and loading and unloading zone parking areas. These schedules shall be updated following any official action of the Board of Public of Works and Safety on changes to the above parking designated categories.

§ 71.99 PENALTY.

   The enforcement provisions set forth in § 70.99 shall also be applicable to violations of any provision set forth in Chapter 71. In addition, the following specific penalties shall apply:

   (A)   Whoever violates §§ 71.01 through 71.11 shall be guilty of a class D infraction and fined not more than $50 with no court costs.

   (B)   Parking of a vehicle by any person in a space designated by §§ 71.20 through 71.25 without a visible permit or special plate showing such parking to be authorized shall be unlawful and shall subject the owner and driver of the vehicle so parked to a fine of not more than $50 with no court costs.
