Sec. 23.120. Maintenance of Pedestrian Malls.
 
   The Department shall maintain the following pedestrian malls located within the City:
 
   (a)   Upon its completion and transfer of jurisdiction from the Community Redevelopment Agency, that pedestrian mall within the Hoover Redevelopment Project constructed on portions of University Avenue and Hoover Boulevard.

Sec. 23.120.1. Landscape Maintenance of Department of Transportation Parking Lots and Facilities.
 
   The Department shall provide landscape maintenance services on and for those parking lots and facilities in the City of Los Angeles owned and/or operated by the City’s Department of Transportation, which require these services, as set forth in a Memorandum of Understanding executed between the departments. The Memorandum shall list the specific inventory of facilities where these services will be performed, and the Memorandum may be amended from time to time as appropriate.

Sec. 23.121. Park Rangers: Acceptance of P.O.S.T. Standards.
 
   (a)   The Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, Park Ranger Division, shall adhere to the standards for selection and training established by the commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (“P.O.S.T.”).
 
   (b)   The Commission and its representatives may make such inquiries it deemed appropriate to ascertain that the Park Ranger Division peace officer personnel adhere to the standards for selection and training established by the Commission.
