(a) The General Manager shall not be a member of the Board of Administration of the Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System nor shall the General Manager have been a member of the Board within one year prior to the General Manager’s appointment.
(b) The position of General Manager and of Secretary to the Board may be consolidated, in the discretion of the Board of Administration.
