Sec. 23.107. Board of Recreation and Parks Commissioners.

   Said Department is under the control and management of a board of five commissioners known as the Board of Recreation and Parks Commissioners, hereinafter referred to in this chapter as the Board.

Sec. 23.108. Appointment and Removal of the General Manager.

   The chief administrative officer of the Department of Recreation and Parks shall be known as the General Manager and shall be appointed and removed as provided in Charter Section 508.

Sec. 23.111. Powers and Duties of the Board of Recreation and Parks Commissioners in General.

   The Board of Recreation and Park Commissioners shall have the powers and duties enumerated in the City Charter, including but not limited to Sections 506, 591, 594, 595 and 596.

Sec. 23.112. Power and Duty of Department.

   The Department of Recreation and Parks shall have the powers and duties enumerated in Charter Section 590.
