Sec. 5.418. Creation Of The Fund.

   There is hereby created within the City of Los Angeles a Fund which is known as the “Jeopardy ‘Balancing the Odds’ Youth Program Trust Fund,” referred to in this chapter as the “Fund.”

Sec. 5.419. Purpose Of The Fund.

   The purpose of the Fund is to finance a gang prevention program located in Pacoima and/or Lake View Terrace sponsored all or in part by the Foothill Division of the Los Angeles Police Department serving the northeast San Fernando Valley.

Sec. 5.420. Appropriations/Transfers To The Fund.

   The City Council may from time-to-time appropriate and/or transfer money into this Fund. The Trust Fund is interest bearing and the City Treasurer is directed to pay such interest to the Fund, effective May 31, 1992.

Sec. 5.421. Administration Of/Expenditure From The Fund.

   This Fund shall be administered by the City Clerk and expenditures or appropriations from the Fund shall be authorized or approved by, or upon recommendation of, the Council person of the Seventh District.
