No driver of any vehicle, other than one on official public business, shall follow closer than 500 feet any police vehicle, fire apparatus or ambulance traveling with audible siren and/or visible light signals.

No vehicle shall be driven over any unprotected hose of a Fire Department when laid down on any street, alley or private driveway to be used at any fire or alarm of fire, except upon specific direction by the Fire Department or police personnel at the scene.

The driver of operator of any vehicle shall not drive the vehicle across any curb or across or within sidewalk or grassplot area, except at a permanent or temporary driveway and, in the latter instance, shall use due care not to break the curbing or cause other damage to property or injury to any person.

(A) No funeral or parade containing 100 or more persons or 25 or more vehicles, except the forces of the United States Army or Navy, the military forces of this state and the forces of the Police and Fire Departments, shall occupy, march or proceed along any street except in accordance with a permit issued by the Chief of Police and the other regulations as set forth herein which may apply.
(B) The restriction shall not apply to any component of the armed forces of this state or the United States.

(A) No person shall ride in or on any vehicle or upon any portion thereof not intended for the carrying of passengers.
(B) This provision shall not apply to an employee engaged in the necessary discharge of a duty or to persons riding within truck bodies in space intended for merchandise.
