PLUMBING INSPECTOR
§ 31.120 OFFICE CREATED; TERM.
   There is hereby created the office of Plumbing Inspector, who shall be appointed by the City Manager.

§ 31.121 BOND; OATH.
   The Plumbing Inspector shall take the oath prescribed for all city officers, and shall execute and deliver a bond payable to the city in the minimum penal sum of $2,500, with sureties to be approved by the City Council, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of his office. He shall receive such salary or compensation as shall be provided by the Council from time to time.

SUPERINTENDENT OF WATERWORKS
§ 31.130 OFFICE CREATED.
   There is hereby created the office of Superintendent of Waterworks, who shall be appointed by the City Manager.

§ 31.131 BOND; OATH.
   Before entering upon the duties of his office he shall take and subscribe an oath for city officials and shall execute and deliver a bond payable to the city in the minimum penal sum of $2,500, with sureties to be approved by the City Council and conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of his office.

§ 31.132 POWERS AND AUTHORITY.
   The Superintendent of Waterworks, under the direction of the City Council, shall have charge of the waterworks plant, water mains, hydrants, meters and equipment; he shall have charge of all employees engaged in or about the water meters and equipment; he shall have charge of the purchase of all materials and supplies; he shall have charge of the distribution of water and the collection of all accounts due for the service of such waterworks plant, and shall on May 1 of each year, or at more frequent intervals if required by the Council, submit an itemized statement of all receipts, disbursements, costs, accounts and an invoice of all materials and equipment on hand, with reasonable detail.
