701.21 CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITHOUT VALID LICENSE.
No person shall conduct or carry on any business or occupation for which a license is required, or cause the same to be conducted or carried on, unless the license so required has been procured, all lawful conditions attached to the issuance or holding of such license have been fulfilled and the license certificate is posted as required by ordinance. No person shall carry on or conduct any business or occupation during any period during which the license therefor is suspended, or after such license is revoked, until in either case the license is restored.
