701.15 DISPLAY ON PREMISES.
It shall be the duty of every person to whom any license is issued to post such license certificate in a prominent place upon the premises where the business or occupation for which such license was issued is carried on, and to keep such license certificate so posted so long as the business or occupation is carried on thereunder, and not to permit the license to be obscured or concealed in any way. The purpose of this section is to require such license to be readily visible at all times to persons lawfully present in such premises. In case of a suspension or revocation of any license the licensee shall surrender such license certificate to any police officer or to the officer serving notice of such suspension or revocation. 701.16 PLATE OR TAG FOR VEHICLE OR CONTAINER.
When a license has been issued for any business or occupation not carried on at any fixed location, the Director of Finance shall furnish to the licensee with the license certificate a metal plate or tag, bearing an identifying number to correspond with the number of the license certificate, and a legend to indicate the nature of the license. It shall be the duty of the licensee when engaged in any operation under such license to keep such license certificate with him, and whenever using any vehicle or container to keep the metal plate or tag affixed in a conspicuous place to the right side or to the front of such vehicle or container as ordinance or rule may require. 701.17 TRANSFERABILITY.
No license issued to one person, or for one place or for specified premises, shall be good for another person, or at any other place or premises, unless such license is declared to be transferable as to persons, places or premises by the ordinance under which it is issued, and unless application for such transfer shall have been made, and approval thereof noted or endorsed on the license certificate. No such transfer shall be approved without all the investigations, inspections and approvals which would be required in case the transferee were the applicant for an original license, nor shall any transfer be approved by which it is sought to avoid or defeat the revocation of any license, nor any other transfer which shall appear not to be made in good faith.

701.18 EFFECT OF DEATH OF LICENSEE.
Whenever any licensee dies, any license held by him shall be valid for thirty days from the date of his death, or for so much of thirty days as remains before the end of the calendar year for which such license was issued, in favor of the legal representatives of such licensee.

701.19 VIOLATION OF REGULATIONS.
Any person who is convicted of any offense regarding licenses or applications for licenses, or of any condition attaching to the issuance or holding of any licenses, or who is convicted of failure or neglect or refusal to comply with conditions and requirements laid down by ordinance regarding any license, shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in the respective chapters of this Part Seven - Business Regulation Code. 701.20 REVOCATION OR SUSPENSION OF LICENSE AS ADDITIONAL PENALTY.
In the case of any person convicted of any offense involving the violation of the ordinances for the licensing of any business or occupation carried on or conducted by such person, the court may at its discretion, in addition to other penalties applicable, order the revocation or suspension of licenses held by such person, and may forbid the issuance of any similar license to such person for the current and next succeeding calendar years, or for any portion of such period.

701.21 CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITHOUT VALID LICENSE.
No person shall conduct or carry on any business or occupation for which a license is required, or cause the same to be conducted or carried on, unless the license so required has been procured, all lawful conditions attached to the issuance or holding of such license have been fulfilled and the license certificate is posted as required by ordinance. No person shall carry on or conduct any business or occupation during any period during which the license therefor is suspended, or after such license is revoked, until in either case the license is restored.

701.22 COUNTERFEITING OF LICENSE CERTIFICATE.
No person shall counterfeit or simulate any license certificate, or post or exhibit any counterfeit or simulation of any license certificate. (1931 Code §50.6942)
701.99 GENERAL CODE PENALTY.
Whoever violates any provision of this Part Seven - Business Regulation Code for which no other penalty is provided shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
