A. For the purpose of this chapter the following term shall be defined as:
HIGH SECURITY KEY BOX: A security box that holds keys, access cards and other small items necessary for emergency entrance that is designed to allow emergency personnel access to the buildings.
B. Requirements: All commercial and industrial buildings, schools, public buildings, and apartment complexes are encouraged to install a high security key box.
All commercial and industrial buildings, schools, public buildings and apartment complexes constructed after the passage of this section are required to install a high security key box approved by the Grove Fire Department. (Ord. 738, 7-18-2017)
