5-3-2-3: SIGNS POSTED:
The chief of police shall cause appropriate signs to be placed and maintained on each and every street, excluding a through street, at or near the property line of the through street; such signs shall be placed in a conspicuous position at or near the property line of the through street and shall bear the word "STOP" in letters of such size as to be clearly legible from a distance of at least one hundred feet (100') along the street intersecting the through street. The chief of police shall also cause appropriate signs to be placed and maintained at the stop intersections designated in this section 5-3-2. (Ord., 8-11-1959)
