   The Codified Ordinances of Garfield Heights cover all ordinances of a general and permanent nature. In addition, the editors have compiled the following listing, chronologically by subject, of ordinances of a special nature as indicated in Tables A through J. For detailed study of such ordinances, the user must consult the full text in the original ordinance books.
 
   EDITOR’S NOTE: Ordinances 4-1905 through 312-1919 were enacted by the Council of the Village of South Newburg, Ohio, which became the Village of Garfield Heights, Ohio, by court order on May 28, 1919. The Village of Garfield Heights, Ohio, was certified as the City of Garfield Heights, Ohio in 1932 by the Secretary of the State of Ohio.
