§ 150.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who violates a provision of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided shall be subject to penalties as provided in § 10.99 of this code.
   (B)   Whenever in the Building Code adopted by § 150.001 or in any other portion of that section or in any rule, regulation, or order promulgated by any officer or agency of the city under authority duly vested in him or her pursuant to the Building Code or by § 150.001 any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, or the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful or an offense or misdemeanor, the violation of any such provision of the Building Code or any other portion of § 150.001 or such rule, regulation, or order shall be punished, upon conviction, by a fine as set by City Council ordinance. Each day of a violation shall constitute a separate offense.

   (C)   Whenever in the Building Code adopted by § 150.002 or in any other portion of that section or in any rule, regulation, or order promulgated by any officer or agency of the city under authority duly vested in him or her pursuant to the Building Code or by § 150.002 any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, or the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful or an offense or misdemeanor, the violation of any such provision of the Building Code or any other portion of § 150.002 or such rule, regulation, or order shall be punished, upon conviction, by a fine as set by City Council ordinance. Each day of a violation shall constitute a separate offense.

   (D)   Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of § 150.003 of this code, the 2000 edition of the International Fire Code, or the 2000 edition of the International Fire Code Standards, as amended by this chapter, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction in the Municipal Court of the city, shall be punished by a fine as set by City Council ordinance for each offense, and each and every day of any such violation shall be deemed to constitute a separate offense.

   (E)   Any person, firm, or corporation that violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with, or who resists the enforcement of, any provision of §§ 150.035 or 150.036 shall be fined no more than $2,000 for all violations involving zoning, fire safety or public health and sanitation, including dumping of refuse, and shall be fined not more than $500 for all other violations of §§ 150.035 or 150.036. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
   (F)   Any person, business, or entity violating any provision of §§ 150.055 et seq. of this code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum as set by City Council ordinance. Each violation and each day the violation continues shall constitute a separate and distinct violation. Nothing herein shall be deemed to limit, abridge, or restrict the enforcement of any term or provision of that subchapter by civil court action as provided by state or federal law. Nothing in that subchapter or this division shall limit, abridge, or restrict the rights and remedies of the city to collect damages and other amounts allowed by law and to seek other relief, at law or in equity, against any person, business, or entity violating §§ 150.055 et seq. or any provision of that subchapter.

   (G)   Any person, business, or corporation violating any provision of § 150.070 of this code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum as set by City Council ordinance, and each violation or failure to comply shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
