CHAPTER
250 Employees Generally
Editor's note: The City enters into Agreements from time to time with various classes of Municipal employees, or their representatives, which Agreements provide for compensation and other incidents of employment. The provisions of this chapter, therefore, apply only to those employees and those subjects not otherwise provided for in such Agreements. In the event of a conflict between any of the provisions of such Agreements and any of the provisions of this chapter, the provisions of the Agreements shall control. Copies of the latest relevant legislation and of such Agreements may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council.
   Ordinance 1993-46, passed April 5, 1993, adopted a Personnel Policy Manual for all City employees. Ordinance 1999-77, passed July 12, 1999, adopted a newly revised Employee Handbook of 1999. Ordinance 2017-017, passed April 3, 2017, adopted the renamed Full-time Employees Handbook and Ordinance 2017-018, passed April 3, 2017, adopted the renamed Part-time Employees Handbook. In the event of a conflict between any of the provisions of this chapter and any of the provisions of such Manual, the provisions of the Manual shall control. Copies of Ordinance 2017-017 and Ordinance 2017-018 and of such Manual may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council.
