(a) Within six months from the effective date of this section, all banks and other financial institutions in the City providing access to an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) that is located outside of a building or other structure shall have installed and have functioning cameras, with sufficient outside lighting at all times, capable of photographing the general area around the ATM as well as the areas of ingress and egress to the ATM for the safety of all users of such ATM.
(b) The location of the cameras required by this section must be inspected and approved by the Chief of Police or his or her designated representative.
