4-1-1: LICENSE REQUIRED:

It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in any business for which a license is required by this chapter or any other provision of this code without first procuring a license therefor and paying the license fee or fees as prescribed for such business by this chapter or other provision of this code. (2007 Code § 31-1)

4-1-2: APPLICATION FOR LICENSE:

All persons who are required under any ordinance of the city to procure a license for the purpose of engaging in any business shall first make application to the city manager for such license, except as otherwise provided. (2007 Code § 31-3)
