(A) All junkyards shall be completely screened from roads or developed areas with a solid fence or wall eight feet or more in height. Maintained in good condition and painted, except for masonry construction, or with suitable planting. All existing junkyards shall comply with this requirement within one year of the date of this chapter or shall terminate their operation.
(B) Junkyards with outside storage shall be permitted only as a conditional use in accordance with § 156.061, and shall be located no closer than 500 feet to a city street or highway.
(C) All junkyards shall comply with all state and federal regulations, and written evidence of such compliance shall be furnished to the Zoning Officer upon three days’ notice.
