Whenever any incident under § 6.10.010 occurs, an animal control officer can order the owner, keeper or other responsible party of the dog or other animal to quarantine it for a period of ten calendar days. Animals quarantined must not be removed from the premises without permission of the Animal Control Bureau. An animal control officer shall have the authority to impound any animal at the expense of the owner, keeper or other responsible party if such party fails or refuses to quarantine the animal.
