(A) Whenever any dog or other animal has bitten, scratched or otherwise exposed any person to the possible infection of rabies, or whenever the owner, keeper or other responsible party of an animal observes or learns that the animal shows symptoms of rabies or acts in a manner which reasonably indicates that it may be infected with rabies, the owner, keeper or other responsible party of the animal shall:
(1) Immediately isolate and restrain or confine the animal in such a way as to make it impossible for the animal to bite any other animal or person; and
(2) Immediately notify the Animal Control Bureau thereof.
(B) Whenever § 6.10.010(A) involves any dog or other animal being bitten, the owner, keeper or other responsible party of the animal so bitten shall:
(1) Immediately isolate and restrain or confine the animal so bitten in such a way as to make it impossible for the animal to bite any other animal or person; and
(2) Immediately notify the Animal Control Bureau thereof.
