The Commissioner of Risk Management under the supervision and direction of the Director of Finance shall:
(a) Oversee and monitor operational risk management activities of the City, including but not limited to, the following:
(1) Managing workers’ compensation claims and loss control activities;
(2) Preparing loss analyses, identifying exposures, and recommending solutions;
(3) Implementing and coordinating safety and risk mitigation policies, programs, and procedures; and
(4) Consulting with Department of Public Safety on employee security issues and emergency planning and coordination.
(b) Develop business continuity planning for all departments to ensure operational and business continuity for services; and

(c) Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by evaluating such violations, or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures and their adjudication; and
(d) Perform such other duties as may from time to time be required by ordinance or the Director of Finance.
