The Director of Building and Housing shall examine or cause to be examined each application for a permit and the plans, specifications and computations filed therewith, and when permits are required from other administrative officers or agencies, shall promptly transmit or cause to be transmitted all pertinent data for action by such administrative officer or agencies, and shall be the coordinating officer in the handling of such permit application.
