§ 487.08 Whistles and Bells
   All powercraft of Class one (1) in operation shall carry in working condition one (1) hand, mouth or power operated whistle capable of producing a blast of at least two (2) seconds duration and audible at least one-half (1/2) mile.
   All powercraft of Class two (2) in operation shall carry in working condition one (1) hand or power operated whistle capable of producing a blast at least two (2) seconds’ duration and audible at least one (1) mile.
   All powercraft of Class three (3) in operation shall carry one (1) power operated whistle capable of producing a blast of at least two (2) seconds’ duration and audible at least one (1) mile.
   Every Class two (2) and Class three (3) powercraft in operation shall in addition be equipped with a bell which when struck produces a clear, bell-like tone of full, round characteristics.
   No person, except in emergency watercraft, shall use or operate a siren on the waters of Cleveland, except for emergency purposes.
