2-84-280 Violation of duties – Discharge from service.
   Any member of the police force who shall refuse or neglect to perform any duty required of him, when such refusal or neglect to perform any such duty shall tend to hinder, obstruct, or impair in any way the proper and strict enforcement of any law or provision of this Code or the efficiency of the police force, is hereby declared to be no longer qualified to be a member of the police force, and shall be discharged from said police force and the service of the city in the manner provided by law.
