705.01 PERMIT REQUIRED; FEE.

   No oil and/or gas well shall be commenced in the City until a permit has been obtained from the Mayor. Each permit shall be on a form prescribed by the Mayor and shall be issued only after a fee of one thousand dollars ($1,000) has been paid, and compliance with the requirements of this chapter have been met.
