713.01 PERMIT REQUIRED.

   (a)   Any nonprofit charitable, religious, patriotic, civic, school or athletic association desiring to solicit funds on the streets of the City shall first obtain a permit for such purpose from the Mayor as to the date and time of such solicitation.

   (b)   No person shall solicit funds on the streets of the City, except by nonprofit charitable, religious, patriotic, civic, school or athletic organizations which have obtained a permit.

713.99 PENALTY.

   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
