1701.01 ESTABLISHED.

   A Board of Health of the City Health District is established pursuant to Chapter 3709 of the Revised Code. The Board shall be composed of five members. Four shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council. Preference shall be given to individuals who reside, own property or a business or work within the corporate boundaries of the City. One member shall be appointed by the health district licensing council established under Chapter 3709. A majority shall constitute a quorum, and the Mayor shall be President of the Board.
