8-4-1: PURPOSE:

The purpose of this chapter is for the protection of the public health by the application of basic plumbing principles as contained in the Idaho plumbing code, Idaho Code title 54, chapter 26, as now adopted or as may be hereinafter amended. (1974 Code § 3-701)

8-4-2: IDAHO PLUMBING CODE ADOPTED:

   A.   Adopted: For the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the installation and repair of plumbing, the Idaho plumbing code, Idaho Code title 54, chapter 26, or as may be hereinafter amended, and the whole thereof, is hereby adopted and incorporated herein as if set out at length. The provisions thereof shall be controlling as to the plumbing of all buildings and other structures within the corporate limits of the city, and within the area of impact for the city.

   B.   Copy On File: One copy shall have been and now is filed in the office of the clerk-treasurer. (1974 Code § 3-703; amd. 2010 Code)
