Ord. 168 | 10/4/1965 | Approving the petition for annexation to the Borough of Blossburg of a section of Hamilton Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, adjacent to, contiguous and abutting the Borough of Blossburg and hereinafter fully described, and providing that the said territory shall be annexed to and become a part of the said Borough if the annexation thereof shall be approved by the Court of Quarter Sessions of Tioga County, Pennsylvania. This refers to a tract of approximately 8.5 acres, located as follows: Beginning at an iron pin located on the south edge of the Old Bloss Road, at a point where the boundary line of the Odd Fellows Cemetery and lands of Jones and Brague intersect the Old Bloss Road, being the original boundary line between the Borough and Hamilton Township and being the northwest corner of lands formerly of Peter Strong; thence southwestwardly 4º 40 feet along the boundary line and the Cemetery, 729. 49 feet to an iron pin; thence northeastwardly 53º 40 feet along lands of Jones and Brague, 316 feet to a point; thence northeastwardly 24º 10 feet still along lands of Jones and Brague, 915 feet to an iron pin at the southern edge of the Old Bloss Road; then the following courses and distances: North 77º 13 feet West, 135 feet to a point; North 87º 13 feet West, 156. 5 feet to a point; thence South 46º 55 feet West, 384 feet to an iron pin, the place of beginning. |
