(A) Any person convicted for the violation of the provisions of this chapter for which another penalty is not provided, shall be fined as follows.
(1) For the offense of parking in any of the places in violation of any section of this chapter or any schedule of Chapter 74, or in any place where official signs or markings prohibit parking, the person shall be fined as follows.
(a) Any person, firm, or corporation violating this chapter, the rate shall be affixed at ten dollars ($10.00); or
(b) If violation of any schedule of Chapter 74 results in a uniform citation being issued, violators shall be fined not less than twenty dollars ($20.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).

(2) For the offense of overtime parking in designated places and double parking, the person shall be fined as follows.
(a) For the first violation, two dollars ($2.00).
(b) For the second such violation, four dollars ($4.00).
(c) For the third such violation, six dollars ($6.00).
(d) For all subsequent violations not less than six dollars ($6.00) nor more than twenty dollars ($20.00), and the costs of the court for each offense.
(3) For all other offenses in violation of the provisions of this chapter the person shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than twenty dollars ($20.00) and the costs of the court for each offense, except for the offense of operating vehicles while in an intoxicated condition, for which each person shall be fined one hundred dollars ($100.00) and costs for each violation.
(4) All persons cited for the first, second, and third violations aforesaid may deposit with the desk sergeant of the Police Department of the city the amount of the penalty hereby imposed for the particular offense with which he is charged, which deposit shall be treated as a forfeiture to the city and, in which event, the person cited shall not be required to appear in the police court in answer to the charge.
(5) (a) Any person, firm or corporation violating the terms of Ch. 74, Sch. VIII who chooses to prepay the administrative penalty, the rate shall not be less than ten dollars ($10.00);
(b) If a violation of Ch. 74, Sch. VIII results in a uniform citation being issued, any person, firm or corporation who shall violate the provisions of Ch. 74, Sch. VIII shall be deemed guilty of a violation and shall be punished by a fine not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than any stated amount provided in KRS 534.040 for a violation offense.

(C) Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of § 72.008 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than twenty dollars ($20.00) for each offense, in the discretion of the court or jury trying the case.

(D) Any person, firm, or corporation violating § 72.009 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine in any sum not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) in the discretion of the court or jury trying the case.

(E) Any person, firm, or corporation violating the terms of § 72.012 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in any sum not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00), in the discretion of the court or jury trying the case. Each day the violation shall continue beyond the effective date of this division may be deemed a separate offense.

(F) Any person, firm, or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of Chapter 74 Schedule VI, relating to overtime parking at parking meters and who is issued a citation for that offense shall be penalized as follows.
(1) For the purpose of determining the penalty imposed for overtime parking at parking meters, all time limits shall be computed from the time citation was placed upon the motor vehicle.
(2) If paid before the expiration of four (4) hours, the penalty shall be five dollars ($5.00) for each citation. If paid between four (4) and seventy- two (72) hours the penalty shall be ten dollars ($10.00) for each citation. The penalty may be paid by placing the correct amount of money within the citation envelope in accordance with the instructions thereon and depositing the envelope in a curb box (sometimes called a "traffic ticket box") provided for that purpose at various locations throughout the parking meter area. In lieu of using the curb box for payment, the penalty or penalties may be paid at the Traffic Department located in the city building.
(3) Any person, firm, or corporation failing to pay the overtime citation shall be deemed guilty of a violation and a summons shall be issued from the Boyd District Court.
(4) After any such citation is referred by the city to the Boyd District Court, but prior to prosecution, prepayment of a ten dollars ($10.00) penalty plus court costs may be made to the Boyd Circuit Court Clerk.
(5) Upon prosecution by the Boyd District Court, if the violator is found guilty, a penalty of not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each offense, in the discretion of the court or jury trying the case, plus court costs, shall be imposed.

(H) Any person violating § 72.076 (B) shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than one hundred ($100.00).

(I) Any person, firm or corporation who violates the terms of § 72.077 (E) shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in any sum not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
(J) Whoever violates any provision of § 72.077(G) shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, in addition to any other penalty which such person may otherwise incur or have imposed by law, shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).

(L) (1) Any person, firm or corporation violating the terms of § 72.013 who chooses to prepay the administrative penalty, the rate shall not be less than fifteen dollars ($15.00).
(2) If violation of § 72.013 results in a uniform citation being issued, any person, firm or corporation who shall violate the provisions of that section shall be deemed guilty of a violation and shall be punished by a fine not less than fifteen dollars ($15.00) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00)

(M) (1) Any person, firm or corporation violating the terms of § 72.100(B) who chooses to prepay the administrative penalty, the rate shall not be less than ten dollars ($10.00).
(2) If violation of § 72.100(B) results in a uniform citation being issued, any person, firm or corporation who shall violate the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a violation and shall be punished by a fine not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00).

(N) Penalty for exceeding the two-hour time limit. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate the provisions of Chapter 74, Schedule IX shall be deemed guilty of a violation and shall be punished by a fine appropriate to the violation.

(O) (1) Any person, firm or corporation violating the terms of Chapter 74, Schedule I or Schedule IX, who chooses to prepay the administrative penalty, the rate shall be not less than ten dollars ($10.00).
(2) If violation of Chapter 74, Schedule I or Schedule IX, results in a uniform citation being issued, any person,, firm or corporation who shall violate the provisions of Chapter 74, Schedule I or Schedule IX, shall be deemed guilty of a violation and shall be punished by a fine not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than any stated amount provided in KRS 534.040 for a violation offense.

(P) Notwithstanding the provisions of title VII: Traffic Code, Chapter 74 Parking Schedules, the fine for parking violations in the City of Ashland shall be ten dollars ($10.00) for the first offense if paid within fifteen (15) days, twenty dollars ($20.00) for the second offense if paid within fifteen (15) days, and thirty dollars ($30.00) for the third offense if paid within fifteen (15) days. All fines shall be increased by ten dollars ($10.00) if paid after fifteen (15) days.
