163.44 PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF EMPLOYEE BENEFITS.

The Board of Control shall have the discretion to approve the payment of any employee benefit in a lump sum payment in excess of five hundred dollars ($500.00). Such approval shall be based on written requests for compensation accompanied by verifiable documentation by the appropriate department head and/or the Mayor.

A request for compensation by the Mayor accompanied by verifiable documentation would also require approval of the Board of Control in the same manner.

This procedure shall be required for the enforcement of the provisions contained in Sections 163.04(b), 163.06, 163.19, 163.23(c) and any other section(s) or ordinance(s) found to be in conflict herewith.
